You can’t stop progress from happening. Every since there was life on this planet; adaptation and evolution we’re always a given... a necessity.
That’s the way we we’re designed to be and it was only a matter of time until we as a species started to design something better, faster and more advanced than us.
Finding acceptance towards what's inevitable
(...)Remain calm and focused on your craft. The rest will take settle on it's own. For better or for worse.
If you think that Artificial Intelligence is none of those, then I’d say your in for a tough one.
This being said, if you aren’t against this and are just worried about the more ethical part of it all (ie.: copyrights and all that funny stuff) I’d say you are correct and have a valid point.
What should we do?
I’m am not one to band and protest this types of things since I believe that it is all apart of a cyclical pattern than is bound to happen with any type of technological advancement. So the answer is: just accept it.
How?
By focusing on what you can control and eliminating what you cannot.
People go up in arms and fight for their perceived survival.
Also part of it. But… don’t be fooled into thinking that you have any control over what is to come.
It is our destiny, to give birth to something better.
It is our nature, our necessity, our obligation.
